New Scoring Information for the Academic Motivation Scale

Scoring Criteria

The following data shows motivation levels that are calculated at intervals of 7.19

The quality of academic motivation was classified as follows:

Self Determination Index (SDI) Scores ranging from Very Low to Medium:

 

Very low (-18.00 ≤ SDI ≤ -10.80)

Low (- 10.79 ≤ SDI ≤ -3.60)

Medium (-3.59 ≤ SDI ≤ +3.60)

​

Self Determination Index (SDI) scores ranging from High to Very High:

 

High (+3.61 ≤ SDI ≤ +10.80)

Very high (+10.81 ≤ SDI ≤ +18.00)
